Mig 170i Multi Function Inverter

This superb Multi Function Inverter Mig Welder offers the facility to Arc Weld and Scratch Start Tig Weld. This makes it the ideal machine for a workshop with a variety of welding jobs and little space!

In Mig Mode the machines output is from 25 to 175amps and will run both Solid Wires (with Gas) and Self Shielding (Gasless) Wire. Low amp output is impressively smooth and controlled, so the machine is ideal for welding very thin sheet. Yet with a maximum output of 175amps, there is more than enough power to get most general workshop jobs done!
Mig Welding will require Co2 or Argon/Co2 Gas (Except Gasless Wire).

In Arc Welding Mode (also used for Scratch Start Tig), the machine offers a power range of 10 to 160amps, so rods from 1.6mm to 4.0mm can all be used with ease. The machine is equipped with an impressive Anti Stick function which makes Arc Striking a dream. When Scratch Start Tig Welding, this Anti Stick function makes initiating the Arc considerably easier than most Scratch Start Tig systems.
Tig Welding will require Argon Gas.
