This superb new kit is an Evolution of our Home Plus kit. It combines the cost effectiveness of a Refillable Oxygen Cylinder with the convenience of a Disposable Gas Canister and a professional Welding Torch.

The kit is aimed at the occasional user who cannot justify the high cylinder rental costs associated with traditional Gas Welding Kits. With Portapack Evolution there is NO CYLINDER RENTAL

The refillable Oxygen Cylinder is supplied full. When it's empty, order a refill via our "Welding Gas" page, where you can also find more detailled information about the Oxygen Cylinder.

The kit produces a flame temperature of over 3000°C, suitable for Welding, Brazing, Silver Soldering and Heating. With the optional Cutting Attachment & Nozzle Upgrade, the Gas Cutting of Steel up to at least 6mm can also be performed.

The Kit is ideal for the Home Workshop, Car Repair Workshops, Maintenance Workshops, Refrigeration Engineers, Artists etc

Cylinder Trolley (approx 86cm Tall) - Refillable Oxygen Cylinder- Disposable Fuel Gas Canister - Fuel Gas Regulator - 2 Gauge Oxygen Regulator - Flash Arrestors - 3M Hose Set - Light Duty Welding Torch with No 1, 3, 5 & 7 Nozzles - Spark Lighter - Pair of Gas Welding Goggles

The Kit is supplied with a Cage for mounting the Fuel Gas Canister to the front of the Trolley, if you wish, you can purchase a second Cage to conveniently store a spare Fuel Gas Canister on the rear of the Trolley.

Guide to Gas Consumption

The following data is a guide to how long the Fuel Gas Canister and Oxygen Cylinder will last. Tests were carried out with the torch set to a Soft, Medium Flame. Please note that this data is a guide only. As actual flame setting will affect gas consumption, The Welders Warehouse will not accept liability for differing results.

Light Duty Torch No3 Nozzle - Oxygen = 48 hours - Fuel Gas = 8 hours
Light Duty Torch No3 Nozzle - Oxygen = 40 hours - Fuel Gas = 6 hours
Light Duty Torch No5 Nozzle - Oxygen = 25 hours - Fuel Gas = 4 hours
Light Duty Torch No7 Nozzle - Oxygen = 12 hours - Fuel Gas = 2 hours
