Tech Advisors Thoughts
A lot of Gas Cylinders are now side exit, this would infer you need a Side Entry Regulator. HOWEVER, whilst this is great for full size cylinders, which are around 146cm (5ft ish) tall, in my opinion, if you're using
smaller cylinders 10 or 20 Litre for example, I would use a Bottom Entry Regulator such as the one on this page and have it lying on its back. This allows you to stand over the Regulator and read the gauges without the need to bend down!
