Changing Times

Friday, 9th May 2025

The Welders Warehouse Ltd has ceased trading as the Principals of the Company have decided to retire, partly on health grounds, partly because of advancing Years!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their support over the last 32 Years.

As we are leaving quite a legacy, we want to let you know where you can go for product support going forward. We hope the following will help:

Brands

  • Weldgas – Gas Welding Equipment
  • WeldMig – Various Products
  • Cros-Arc – Mig, Tig Plasma, MMA machines
  • MWA – Welding Rods
  • Aegis – Face Visor

The above brands are by WeldFast UK Ltd

Brands

  • SWP
  • Super 6
  • Superon
  • Stealth
  • The Welders Warehouse branded Auto Welding Helmet
  • The Welders Warehouse branded Industrial Gas Regulators (not ProGas Regs)

The above brands are by Specialised Welding Products Ltd

ProGas Cylinders – Fuel Gas is readily available from B&Q, Screwfix etc. 2.2L Oxygen cylinders can be found here or by by searching “Throwaway Oxygen Cylinders” or “Disposable Oxygen Cylinders”. The Thread on the Top of the Oxygen Cylinders needs to be M10 x 1mm.

Be aware that Adams Gas 2.2L Oxygen Cylinders may not be compatible with the ProGas 5000 Oxygen Regulator that has The Welders Warehouse Logo on the Control Knob, because the Adams Gas Cylinder Valve is 0.6mm shorter and so, we believe, the Seal does not work properly, potentially leading to a significant leak. Adams Gas Oxygen Cylinders are compatible with older ProGas kits (no Welders Warehouse Logo on the Control Knob).

“Graham’s blog” and our YouTube channel will remain in place for a while, so you’re welcome to continue using those.

Hi, I’m having trouble sourcing pro-jet nozzles any help

    1. Graham says:

      Hi Allen
Pro-Jet Nozzles were a Welders Warehouse designed product. We are trying to negotiate the passing of the manufacture of these to another company. If this is successful, details will be forthcoming in due course.
Sorry I couldn’t help any further at this time.
      Regards Graham

Hi Graham, I have an iMIG 165, can you recommend anybody in or around Dorset who can repair it? Many thanks anthony

    1. Graham says:

      Hi Anthony
Sorry for the slow reply, am in the process of retiring!
I regret I don’t know anyone in the Dorset area, what’s wrong with the machine?
The most likely cause of a problem is one of the two circuit boards, the large Main Board and a smaller Control Board. There is a simple check you can do to test which is the more likely.

      > Unplug the machine from the mains
      > Remove the blue Cover
      > Between the two large Aluminium Heatsinks, on the Main Board, is a small fan (NOT the one in the back of the machine)
      > Taking great care not to put a hand of finger inside the machine, plug the machine back into the mains
      > Glue your eyes on the fan blades and turn the machine ON
      > After about a second, this small fan should start
      > Turn the machine OFF and unplug before doing anything else

If the fan does not start, it’s likely the Main Board has developed a fault and will need to be replaced. If the fan does start, the fault is likely to be with the Control Board and this will need to be replaced.
Let me know how you get on!
      Cheers Graham

  3. Aaron Kelly says:

    Hi Graham
Been looking for welding nozzles for propylene. Do you know another supplier? All the best.

    1. Graham says:

      Hi Aaron
We’re currently negotiating with a couple of interested parties, so the Pro-Jet Nozzles may become available again later in the year. If so, we will update the “Changing Times” page of this blog.
      Cheers Graham

  4. Hi Graham, thank you for all your help and being a great supplier. I don’t suppose you’ve got any surplus stock do you? ie. the Model O torches?
All the best and have a happy retirement!
    Geoff

    1. Graham says:

      Hi Geoff
Thank you for your kind comments and good wishes, much appreciated! I regret we don’t have any Model O Torches left. We are currently negotiating with a couple of interested parties, so these may become available again later in the year. In the meantime Weldfast UK have a pretty good Model O, I know they’re out of stock until next Month, but better to wait than buy crap!
      Hope that helps
      Cheers Graham

  5. Richard says:

I wish you all the best for the future and your retirement. Thank you for your service šŸ‘

    1. Graham says:

      Hi Richard
Thank you for the kind comment, it’s REALLY appreciated!
      Best Regards
      Graham

  6. Ben says:

Hi Graham, where is the best place to get the model o torches you were selling before ?

    1. Graham says:

      Hi Ben
We’re currently in negotiation re someone to take over the supply of Model O Torches, I will try and publish details once finalised. In the meantime Weldfast UK have a pretty good alternative. They will probably not supply you directly, but should be able to point you towards an agent in your area. Hope that helps, cheers Graham

  7. Charlie hamilton says:

    1. Graham says:

      Hi Charlie
